– Embedded Software Designer (M/F)
Role: Embedded software designer
Place: Modena (Italy)
Duration: Permanent (or for a specific project)
Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibility: The resource will work in close collaboration with a team of hardware, firmware, software designers and will have to deal with the programming of embedded systems.
Requirements:
– Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
– Minimum of 3 years of C, C ++, Bash, Python programming experience.
– Programming skills in embedded environments.
– Experience in the use of microcontrollers (e.g., MSP430, ATxmega, 8051-based, etc).
– Experience in managing TCP / IP, UDP, MQTT communications.
– Experiences in the use of communication standards such as USB, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, etc.
– Experience in managing Linux OS and its configuration.
– Knowledge of wireless protocols, such as LoRa, ZigBee, 802.15.4, Bluetooth.
– Knowledge of software dedicated to database management.
– Good knowledge of the English language.
The ability to work in a team and for objectives completes personal requirements.

– Firmware Engineer (M/F)
Role: Firmware engineer
Place: Modena (Italy)
Duration: Permanent/ Full time
Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibility: Responsible for the development and distribution of firmware and software for embedded systems.
This position requires a highly motivated C / C ++ developer. You will design, develop and test ad hoc microembedded RF products and ad hoc RF systems.
Essential requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering, or equivalent disciplines
– 1 year of experience in developing C / C ++ on integrated platforms
– Ability to use debugging tools to identify the root cause of problems and ability to solve them
– Experience with microcontrollers (e.g. MSP430, ATxmega, based on 8051, etc.)
Desired requirements:
– Master’s degree in electronic / computer engineering or equivalent disciplines
– Familiarity with radio network protocols such as ZigBee, 802.15.4, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TCP / IP
– Familiar with embedded hardware design and wireless systems
– Experience in installing and configuring development tools / environments
– Good knowledge of real-time operating systems
– Experience in developing low-level device drivers on embedded hardware
